Material Handler – Direct Hire

$22.00/hour | 1st Shift 

Pro Resources is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler for a growing manufacturing company in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits, a four-day workweek, and long-term career growth.

Schedule:
  • Monday–Thursday: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Overtime is likely available on Fridays
What You'll Do
  • Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, components, and finished products.
  • Deliver materials to production areas to keep manufacturing running efficiently.
  • Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Perform inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Record material movements using inventory management software.
  • Support Lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and Kanban practices.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and shipping teams to meet daily production goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler, Forklift Operator, Shipping & Receiving Associate, or in a similar manufacturing role.
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience required.
  • Forklift experience is required; prior certification is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or warehouse systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday.
