Job Summary:As a Customer Support Representative at American Airlines in Jamaica, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing timely and efficient assistance to passengers. You will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering support across various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist passengers with booking reservations, changing flights, and processing refunds or cancellations as needed.
  • Provide accurate information regarding flight schedules, baggage policies, and travel documentation requirements.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints effectively, escalating complex cases to senior management when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as reservations, operations, and finance to ensure seamless customer service delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies, procedures, and industry regulations to provide accurate assistance to customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service or hospitality industry is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and reservation systems; familiarity with airline ticketing software is an advantage.

Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred, but not required. We welcome individuals with a passion for delivering exceptional service and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Working Hours: This position may require flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of our customers and operational requirements.
