Join WWT today!</p><p>Why should you join the team?</p><p><br></p><p>As a Cybersecurity Consulting Solutions Engineer (CSE), you will be acting as the technical consultant to multiple customers within the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Fourth Estate Defense Agencies. These areas are essential to our national security, and the team is providing mission-aligned strategies to ensure the customer is identifying the right solutions to solve their cybersecurity challenges.</p><p><br></p><p>What will you be doing?</p><p>The role of Cybersecurity Consulting Solutions Engineer is to achieve impressive goals by offering World Wide Technology’s advanced suite of cybersecurity solutions through multiple OEMs, including Cisco, Palo Alto, and others. The CSE, in partnership with a talented Client Manager, will build consultative relationships as the technical liaison and partner. Their focus is on expanding WWT’s footprint of services capabilities from deployment services to strategic post-deployment staffing. <strong>This position is located in the DC Metro area</strong> and will consist of predominantly local meetings with the potential for up to 25% travel.</p><p>,</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent military/industry experience).</li><li>7-10+ years progressive IT or cybersecurity engineering experience within federal or military environments (DoD preferred).</li><li>3-5+ years pre-sales or field-facing technical sales experience as a Systems Engineer, Technical Specialist, or equivalent.</li><li>Demonstrated success supporting DISA and Fourth Estate Defense Agencies strongly preferred.</li><li>Technical Expertise:</li><li>Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity technologies including: next-generation firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, endpoint detection & response (EDR), SIEM/SOAR, identity & access management, zero trust network access (ZTNA), and cloud security.</li><li>Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks: NIST 800-53, DoD RMF, DISA STIGs, FedRAMP, and Zero Trust maturity models.</li><li>Broad experience across enterprise compute, storage, virtualization, and networking solutions.</li><li>Certifications (preferred):</li><li>Cybersecurity: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CASP+</li><li>Vendor/Technical: Cisco CCNP Security, Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE 7/8, VMware VCP, AWS/Azure Security Specialty</li><li>DoD 8570/8140 compliance certifications (IAT III or IAM II/III) strongly desired</li><li>Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required; Active DoD Secret or higher clearance preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Want to learn more about Public Sector? A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $155,000.00 to $175,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
