Role Description

The Independent Women Ambassador Coordinator advances the mission of Independent Women by elevating and amplifying the voices of individuals directly impacted by policy. This role builds, grows, and activates a high-impact network of advocates—individuals who share their personal experiences to expand reach, strengthen influence, and inspire others to engage.

Through strategic support, the Coordinator helps these advocates sharpen and scale their stories so they reach broader audiences, drive meaningful conversations, and mobilize others to action—fueling measurable growth in awareness, education, and movement-building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ambassador Management
    • Own and scale the Independent Women Ambassador Program, integrating ambassadors across departments to support organizational objectives.
    • Lead proactive prospecting, pipeline development, and recruitment to grow the ambassador network with high-quality, mission-aligned individuals.
    • Develop and refine program guidelines, incentives, and training to ensure a best-in-class ambassador experience.
    • Create a sought-after program with clear processes, KPIs, goals, and measurable outcomes.
    • Lead ambassador onboarding, integration, and long-term engagement strategies.
  • Relationship Management & Communications
    • Serve as the primary liaison between ambassadors and the organization, building strong, authentic relationships.
    • Facilitate consistent ambassador communications (weekly group and individual outreach), including messaging, opportunities, and campaign alignment.
    • Equip ambassadors with timely talking points, creative assets, and engagement opportunities to amplify campaigns.
    • Maintain open lines of communication, gathering feedback and ensuring ambassador satisfaction.
    • Foster a culture where ambassadors feel like an extension of the team—energized, informed, and activated.
  • Salesforce & Data Management
    • Utilize Salesforce CRM to track, manage, and report on ambassador recruitment, engagement, and activity.
    • Ensure all ambassador interactions, participation, and performance metrics are accurately recorded and maintained.
    • Develop dashboards and reporting systems to measure program success, engagement rates, and overall impact.
    • Analyze data to inform strategy, optimize performance, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Program Operations & Performance Tracking
    • Monitor and report on ambassador impact, including engagement metrics, campaign participation, and success stories.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, media, policy, and operations teams to align ambassador efforts with broader initiatives.
    • Provide ambassadors with resources, tools, and support to effectively represent the brand.
    • Recognize and reward top-performing ambassadors to maintain motivation and retention.
  • Events & Experiential Support
    • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of Independent Women events, ensuring seamless ambassador integration.
    • Assist in organizing ambassador participation at key events, including staffing plans, run-of-show development, and logistics.
    • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders to execute high-quality events.
    • Serve as a brand representative at events, working alongside ambassadors to expand reach and engagement.
    • Manage ambassador involvement in coalition and partner events to ensure strong brand representation.
    • Analyze event performance, gather feedback, and contribute to post-event reporting and optimization.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in project management, strategy development, and relationship building.
  • Proven ability to build trust and loyalty.
  • Strong drive to grow and activate a network of advocates advancing Independent Women’s mission.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong organizational, prioritization, and data management skills.
