Job Summary

The Elite Job is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic and growing cloud infrastructure team. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Monitor system performance and ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of cloud environments.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to implement cloud-based solutions.

  • Write and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.

  • Support in troubleshooting issues and performing root cause analysis to resolve incidents.

  • Contribute to documentation, best practices, and process improvements for cloud infrastructure.

  • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or currently pursuing).

  • Foundational knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services.

  • Basic understanding of Linux/Unix and/or Windows operating systems.

  • Familiarity with one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude toward self-improvement.

Experience

  • No prior professional experience required.

  • Internship or project experience with cloud technologies is a strong advantage.

  • Certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Digital Leader is a plus but not mandatory.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible working hours available).

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.

  • Remote-first work environment, with optional access to coworking spaces in select locations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong desire to grow in the cloud engineering field.

  • Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is beneficial.

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
