For more information, visit <a href="">Amplify.com</a>.</p> <p><b>Job Description: </b></p> <p>Amplify is seeking a full-time <b>Lead Professional Learning Specialist, STEM</b> with a background in teaching, coaching, and/or school leadership to join our Professional Development team and support educators and students nationwide.</p> <p>Lead Professional Learning Specialists (Lead PLS) facilitate high-quality professional learning for teachers and school leaders, ensuring they feel confident implementing Amplify STEM programs to drive student success.</p> <p>In addition, Lead PLS serve as coaches and leaders for a cohort of approximately 30-40 Professional Learning Specialists (PLS), ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across all engagements.</p> <p><b>Essential Responsibilities:</b></p> <p><b>Professional Development Delivery</b></p> <ul><li><p>Develop deep expertise in Amplify STEM programs and associated professional learning offerings</p></li><li><p>Deliver high-quality remote and onsite professional development approximately two days per week to groups of 30-40 educators</p></li><li><p>Differentiate facilitation to meet the unique needs and contexts of diverse school and district partners</p></li><li><p>Manage session logistics and complete all deliverables accurately and on time</p></li></ul> <p><b>Professional Growth & Certification </b></p> <ul><li><p>Participate in paid certification training to become a certified Professional Learning Specialist (if not already certified)</p></li><li><p>Engage in ongoing professional learning, including observation, coaching, and feedback cycles, to continuously strengthen facilitation practice</p></li></ul> <p><b>Coaching & Team Leadership</b></p> <ul><li><p>Coach and develop a cohort of approximately 30-40 PLS through observations, coaching conversations, modeling, peer practice, and written and live feedback</p></li><li><p>Design and implement targeted development plans based on observation data, customer feedback, survey results, and self-reflection</p></li><li><p>Review post-session survey data regularly, particularly during peak delivery seasons, to identify trends and provide actionable feedback </p></li><li><p>Communicate key insights on individual and cohort performance, strengths, and development areas to internal stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Partner in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new PLS throughout the year</p></li><li><p>Share insights on customer experience and product implementation with internal teams, including Product and Program teams</p></li></ul> <p><b>Amplify STEM Program Expertise</b></p> <ul><li><p>Develop and maintain deep expertise in Amplify STEM products, instructional models, and implementation best practices</p></li><li><p>Stay current on product updates, enhancements, and implementation guidance to support educators and internal teams effectively</p></li><li><p>Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, resource development, and cross-functional collaboration efforts</p></li><li><p>Support continuous improvement by sharing customer insights and implementation feedback with internal stakeholders</p></li></ul> <p><b>Minimum Qualifications: </b></p> <ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of PreK-12 teaching experience</p></li><li><p>At least 2 years of experience coaching educators in PreK-12 settings</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of adult learning theory and demonstrated application in professional development settings</p></li><li><p>Deep knowledge of STEM instructional best practices aligned to grade-level standards</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to facilitate engaging and effective in-person and virtual professional development</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams)</p></li><li><p>Strong written and verbal communication skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs in real time</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational and time management skills across competing priorities</p></li></ul> <p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p> <ul><li><p>Experience coaching or training educators using Amplify programs</p></li><li><p>Experience supporting diverse student populations (e.g., English learners, students with disabilities, gifted learners)</p></li><li><p>Candidates located in the Western U.S. (Pacific or Mountain Time Zones) are preferred. </p></li></ul> <p><b>Additional Information:</b></p> <p>Travel is an essential function of this role. Expected travel is approximately:</p> <ul><li><p>60%+ during peak season (May-September)</p></li><li><p>20-40% during the school year</p></li></ul> <p>Travel may include overnight stays and transportation via car, plane, and/or public transportation, sometimes with limited advance notice.</p> <p><b>What we offer:</b><br />Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000.
