<b>Job Description</b>Job Description<p>We are seeking a versatile <b><b>OpenText Developer / Administrator</b></b> to join our team during an exciting period of modernization and cloud migration for a 6+ month project with potential for extension. </p><p><br></p><p>As Open Text Developer/Administrator you will be the technical anchor for our OpenText Content Server environment (v25.1), responsible for both high-level system administration and hands-on custom development. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the intersection of enterprise content management, web development, and emerging AI technologies like OpenText Aviator. </p><p><br></p><p>Requires working Pacific time hours and must be based in US and able to be remote/hybrid to meet on site as as needed. </p><p><br></p><p><b><b>Key Responsibilities</b></b></p><ul><li><b><b>System Administration:</b></b> Provide end-to-end support for OpenText Content Server, including log analysis, troubleshooting, and managing vendor support tickets.</li><li><b><b>Configuration:</b></b> Manage and optimize security settings, workspaces, and system configurations.</li><li><b><b>Custom Development:</b></b> Design and build sophisticated WebReports, custom pages, and integrated web solutions using JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and C#.</li><li><b><b>Application Support:</b></b> Provide baseline support and development within OpenText AppWorks.</li><li><b><b>Cloud & Integration:</b></b> Support the transition of projects into AWS and maintain integrations between the Document Library, SharePoint, and Azure environments.</li><li><b><b>Innovation:</b></b> Assist in the roadmap for OpenText Aviator (AI) to enhance organizational data discovery and automation.</li></ul><p><b><b>Technical Qualifications</b></b></p><ul><li><b><b>ECM Expertise:</b></b> Proven experience with OpenText Content Server and Content Management.</li><li><b><b>Development:</b></b> Strong background in web development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap) and back-end logic (C# or similar frameworks).</li><li><b><b>OpenText Tooling:</b></b> Expert-level ability to build and maintain WebReports.</li><li><b><b>Cloud Awareness:</b></b> Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and cloud-hosted application environments.</li><li><b><b>Data Literacy:</b></b> Understanding of document metadata structures, complex security schemas, and platform architecture.</li></ul><p><b><b>Preferred Skills:</b></b></p><ul><li>Experience with OpenText Knowledge Discovery.</li><li>Familiarity with OpenText Aviator or other AI-driven content modules.</li><li>Proficiency in Visio for process mapping and system documentation.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Note: Must be based in the US.
