Position Title: Program Manager Non Tech 3 Location: Remote Daily Schedule & OT estimate: 40 hours a week, Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm PST, NO OT, NO EXPENSE.

Typical Day in the Role

  • Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is commercial systems and technologies that is responsible for pricing and billing for an org.
  • Key projects: This role will contribute to assisting with a pilot that will enable the ability for a customer on unified support to be billed monthly for their Azure consumption rather than annually.
  • Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 10% meetings & 90% Data calculation, manual pricing, quoting, queries, data entering.

  • Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain Strong organization skills, has knowledge of USP tool and unified support tool, and prior experience in this tool on this team.
  • Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on Able to pick up on the process and the pricing and quote tools (USP, compass one, explore.MS, SharePoint, excel, outlook, MSFT forms), Self-sufficiency – don't need a lot of hand holding, and proactive communication.

The Pricing, Billing and Offerings Enablement Team within Commercial Systems Technology is looking for a self-motivated candidate to support a book of work that will enable customers to be billed and invoiced for Azure support for Unified or the Digital Natives offer monthly. As part of the Manual Enablement Team, you will be responsible for assisting Support Sellers with generating a price and quote for a Unified renewal deal or Digital Natives offer and producing an invoice amount for Azure consumption, to be billed to the customer monthly throughout the duration of the customer's contract.

Key deliverables:

  • Through a white-glove approach, assist Sellers with generating a base price and quote for a Unified Support deal or Digitial Natives offer. This includes pricing Azure and non-Azure components of the deal, sending pricing to downstream teams for processing. You will also be responsible for creating a file for each customer, stored in a secure location for tracking monthly consumption for the duration of the contract.
  • On a monthly basis, calculate the Azure consumption amount by extracting consumption from data queries and translate this amount into a price for Unified Support for Azure or Digital Natives using the Monthly Pricing Calculator, sending this value to downstream teams for processing. Ensure proper tracking of invoice amounts in a secured customer file throughout the duration of the contract.
  • Assist Sales with quota relief. This requires tracking of estimated PO value to actual consumption amount, alerting Sales of predicted over/under PO value for compensation adjustments, and performing adjustments in Sales tools, as needed.
  • In addition to performing these core deliverables, you will be responsible for looking for ways to improve seller experience, simplify and automate processes, and enhance tooling capabilities to reduce time spent generating a monthly price/bill for UMBA or DN.
