Come join us on our journey!<br><br><strong>About The Role<br><br></strong>As the Regional Refrigeration Specialist, you will serve as the technical expert and regional leader for commercial CO2 refrigeration systems across Amazon's expanding North American market. You will drive standardization, reliability improvements, and technical excellence across multiple facilities while ensuring optimal performance and compliance with food safety standards. But wait, there's more: We provide lightweight fire-resistant daily wear and composite toe safety shoes for your safety!<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><strong>Key Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To<br><br></strong><ul><li> You will be able to travel domestically up to 80%, providing regional technical support and expertise for commercial CO2 refrigeration systems across assigned geography and ensuring optimal performance and compliance with food safety standards</li><li> You will lead and execute refrigeration system audits, maintenance quality assessments, and reliability improvement initiatives across multiple facilities within the region</li><li> You will develop and implement standardized refrigeration maintenance procedures, troubleshooting protocols, and best practices to drive consistency and efficiency across all assigned sites</li><li> You will partner with site leadership, maintenance teams, central engineering groups, and vendor management to identify opportunities for equipment standardization, cost optimization, and performance enhancement</li><li> You will be able to travel up to 80% and provide escalation support and mentorship to local maintenance teams and operations personnel on refrigeration system operations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance strategies<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience</li><li> 5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience</li><li> 5+ years of refrigeration industry experience</li><li> Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> 2+ years of commercial CO2 refrigeration applications experience</li><li> Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques</li><li> Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience</li><li> Refrigeration Trade School certificate</li><li> Experience implementing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs for commercial refrigeration systems<br><br></li></ul>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.<br><br>Los Angeles County applicants: Job duties for this position include: work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
