Job Title: Remote Property Manager (100% Work From Home) 

 
Location: Remote from Latin America
 
Position Type: Full-time 
 
Salary: $1,300 – $1,800 USD/month
  
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PT (On-call for emergencies on weekends with a 1-hour response time)

Currently managing over 180 properties with plans to exceed 300 units in the near future, they specialize in delivering high-quality, stress-free management while maximizing returns for property owners. Job Overview

Our Client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of residential properties. This critical role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, fosters strong landlord-tenant relationships, and maintains strict compliance with California laws. The successful candidate will coordinate leasing, maintenance, and rent collection while serving as the primary bridge between property owners and the internal operations team. This is a high-responsibility position requiring a professional who can handle multiple priorities with urgency and professionalism.

 

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio & Owner Management

  • Manages a portfolio of residential rental properties from initial onboarding through ongoing management.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for property owners, providing regular performance updates and maintaining long-term professional relationships.
  • Delivers weekly updates to owners regarding leasing activity, property performance, and market trends.

Tenant Relations & Leasing

  • Communicates directly with tenants regarding rent, lease terms, and general inquiries.
  • Oversees the leasing process in coordination with the leasing team, including participating in pricing strategy and monitoring listing performance.
  • Manages lease renewals, rent increases, and tenant transitions while handling escalated issues with a solution-oriented approach.

Maintenance & Operations

  • Coordinates and oversees maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution and cost efficiency for the owner.
  • Works closely with the maintenance team and vendors to troubleshoot repairs and approve work orders and invoices.
  • Monitors rent collections, follows up on delinquencies, and assists with the issuance of legal notices when necessary.
  • Maintains meticulous records in AppFolio, ensuring all interactions and documents are properly archived.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in residential property management is required (U.S. experience is strongly preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with property management software (AppFolio proficiency is a significant advantage) and general tech-savviness with CRM systems.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills; comfortable handling difficult conversations with tenants or owners.
  • Legal Knowledge: A strong understanding of residential operations; knowledge of California landlord-tenant laws is considered a major plus.
  • Organization: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
