Job Category: Pilot Republic Airways Cadet Program Flight students can receive a Conditional Offer of Employment with Republic Airways as early as their instrument rating or commercial certificate! This program requires no commitment or contractual obligation. Below you’ll find the requirements for this program based on your flight training program in addition to the application and interview process. The RJet Cadet program is the ideal transition from classroom to cockpit with the nation’s leading regional carriers on ultra-modern Embraer E 170/175 aircraft. Because of our diversity in partners – Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and United Airlines – as well as our broad base locations, Republic Airways offers a unique set of options for any interested candidate. PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS ALL Candidates -No more than one check ride failure -Eligibility to work in the United States -FAA First Class Medical (can have lapsed privileges) -Resume attached to application Cadets with R-ATP (1000 or 1250 Hours) -Instrument Rating -No more than 700 hours or less than 6 months until date of conversion to First Officer Cadets with ATP (1500 Hours) -Commercial Certificate -No more than 1000 hours or less than 6 months until date of conversion to First Officer INTERVIEW PROCESS Interviews take place year-round both virtually and onsite in various locations. The interview consists of an HR portion during which the recruiter will ask about your documents, qualifications and get to know you as a pilot. There will also be a technical portion conducted by a current Republic Airways pilot. Be prepared to read a METAR, TAF and brief an approach using a Jeppesen chart.
