You'll contribute to — and grow into owning — core internal platform capabilities and product features end-to-end.<br><br>You'll work across internal tools, services, workflows, and AI-powered products that support our engineering, operations, and recruiting platforms. As you grow, you'll take increasing ownership of critical systems while collaborating closely with experienced engineers.<br><br><strong>What You'll Own<br><br></strong><ul><li>Contribute to the design and development of end-to-end fullstack systems powering critical internal workflows and platform capabilities.</li><li>Build clean, maintainable backend services and APIs while learning scalable engineering best practices.</li><li>Develop high-quality frontend interfaces used by internal teams and end users.</li><li>Participate in data modeling and database optimization efforts, including schema design and query performance.</li><li>Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams to translate ideas into reliable, production-ready features.</li><li>Improve engineering quality through code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Help troubleshoot production issues while learning how to build resilient, observable systems.</li><li>Develop sound engineering judgment by making thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, scalability, and maintainability.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>What We're Looking For<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (recent graduate or graduating soon).</li><li>Internship, co-op, research, or meaningful personal/project experience building software applications.</li><li>Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.</li><li>Familiarity with frontend development using React or similar frameworks.</li><li>Familiarity with backend development using Node.js (NestJS is a plus).</li><li>Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and core data modeling principles.</li><li>Familiarity with RESTful APIs and how distributed applications communicate.</li><li>Exposure to Git and modern software development workflows.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.</li><li>Excited to learn quickly and contribute in a fast-moving engineering environment.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred<br><br></strong><ul><li>Internship or professional software engineering experience.</li><li>Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD, deployment pipelines, or DevOps fundamentals.</li><li>Exposure to modern architectures such as microservices, serverless, or event-driven systems.</li><li>Interest in AI-powered products, workflow automation, or data-intensive applications.</li><li>Experience contributing to team projects, hackathons, open-source software, or startup environments.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Compensation & Benefits Notice<br><br></strong>The national pay range for this full-time position is base salary of $110,000 –$150,000 USD. All employees are eligible for equity compensation, and employees may also receive performance-based bonuses, dependent on role and subject to company policies.
