Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine product requirements and dimensions. Measure and mark sheet metal for cutting, bending, and shaping using precision measuring instruments. Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using appropriate tools and techniques such as shears, brakes, and rollers. Assemble, fasten, and install sheet metal parts and components using various methods such as welding, bolting, and riveting. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments and repairs as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with equipment or processes to ensure efficient and effective production. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects. Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase productivity and efficiency. Keep updated on industry trends and advancements in Tôlier work to bring new ideas and techniques to the team. Train and mentor new or less experienced Tôliers to ensure consistent and high-quality work. Communicate with supervisors and managers regarding production status, challenges, and potential improvements.
