This role offers an opportunity to support and optimize critical healthcare technology systems in a fully remote environment.

Accountabilities:

    As an Associate IT Analyst, you will support the ongoing management, optimization, and improvement of healthcare software applications, ensuring they meet business and clinical needs. You will collaborate with technical teams and end users to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and support application lifecycle activities.

    • Provide day-to-day support and optimization for software applications, including system builds, upgrades, enhancements, and configuration updates.
    • Analyze business and clinical requirements to recommend improvements that optimize workflows and increase operational efficiency.
    • Perform workflow assessments to identify functional requirements and ensure effective application utilization.
    • Develop and execute system test plans for software upgrades, patches, and enhancements while documenting test results and progress.
    • Support problem management, incident resolution, change requests, and service requests related to application functionality.
    • Provide application-related support and troubleshooting assistance to end users, including participation in on-call support activities when required.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and healthcare professionals to ensure applications align with operational and clinical workflows.
    • Communicate software issues, requirements, enhancements, and updates clearly to stakeholders.
    • Support smaller projects or assigned project components, including planning and coordination of application releases.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on application reliability, usability, and performance.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate will have foundational IT knowledge, strong analytical skills, and an interest in healthcare technology. This role is suited for a professional who can learn quickly, collaborate effectively, and support complex application environments.

      • 0 to 2 years of relevant professional experience with a degree, or 3 years of relevant experience without a degree.
      • 0 to 3 years of experience supporting IT applications, software systems, or related technical environments.
      • Exposure to inpatient hospital environments and healthcare workflows is required.
      • Familiarity with Epic applications, inpatient clinical workflows, or healthcare information systems is preferred.
      • Ability to analyze processes, identify issues, and support technology improvements.
      • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
      • Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, clinicians, and business stakeholders.
      • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to follow structured processes and maintain accurate records.
      • No specific certification or professional licensure is required.
