Rippling Specialist

Other Jobs To Apply

No other job posts for this day.

We are seeking a specialist with direct, hands-on experience configuring Rippling payroll imports and integrations.

One of our clients uses Homebase for timekeeping and Rippling for payroll processing and HRIS. The client operates multiple locations under multiple FEINs, and employees may work across locations and legal entities.

Homebase and Rippling are currently connected, but the integration is not producing reliable payroll data. Known issues include:

*Employees not populating correctly when they work outside their home location

*Overtime data transferring incorrectly

*Difficulty assigning hours to the correct location or legal entity

*Questions regarding how Rippling handles Shift IDs, locations, and related import fields

*Significant manual review and correction before payroll can be processed

Our preferred outcome is to replace or supplement the current integration with a reliable CSV-based payroll upload process. We have programming capabilities and can build the data transformation ourselves. We primarily need a Rippling specialist who can help us understand the correct Rippling configuration, import structure, and field requirements.

We are also open to a more robust API-based solution, but API development is not required for this engagement.

Initial scope

------------------

The selected consultant will help us:

*Review the client’s Rippling payroll and organizational setup

*Determine the correct way to represent multiple FEINs and locations

*Explain how employees working across locations or legal entities should be handled

*Identify the appropriate Rippling CSV import process

*Clarify the required use of Shift IDs, location identifiers, employee identifiers, earning codes, and other relevant fields

*Review how regular hours and overtime should be submitted

*Help us test a sample upload and validate the results

*Recommend whether CSV, API, or a revised native integration is the best long-term approach

We do not need a general HR consultant or payroll processor. We need someone who understands Rippling’s technical payroll configuration and has personally worked with Rippling imports, integrations, or multi-entity payroll environments.

Required experience

-------------------------------

*Direct Rippling payroll implementation or administration experience

*Rippling payroll CSV import experience

*Multi-location and multi-entity payroll experience

*Understanding of employees working across locations or FEINs

*Experience troubleshooting timekeeping-to-payroll integrations

*Ability to explain Rippling configuration and import requirements clearly

Experience with Homebase or the Rippling API is helpful but not mandatory.
