We also have a sister veterinary clinic in Hong Kong and are committed to delivering O2O (online-to-offline) experiences that bridge digital shopping and real-world pet care.
The Role
As our Shopify Operations Specialist, you’ll own everything on and around Shopify that moves the needle: storefront, themes, apps, data, analytics, CX automations, lifecycle marketing, and O2O with our HK sister clinic. This role is focused on Shopify and everything directly tied to it that drives our vision and growth (themes, apps, data, analytics, CX automations, lifecycle/O2O) including stepping in to resolve Shopify-related customer support tickets when needed.
What You’ll Do (Shopify-first)
Own Liquid/theme development, Online Store 2.0 sections, performance optimization, accessibility, and CRO/UX.
Evaluate, implement, and maintain Shopify apps (subscriptions, reviews, search, bundling, loyalty). Manage custom/private apps and webhooks.
- Checkout & Payments audit
Configure checkout extensibility, payment gateways, subscriptions, taxes, and fraud tools; ensure a smooth, compliant flow.
Structure product data, variants, metafields, and collections; build rules for bundles, replenishment, and pharmacy SKUs.
Define Rx validation prompts, compliance flows, and integrations required for an online pet pharmacy.
- Lifecycle on Shopify Stack
Set up Klaviyo (or similar) flows, templates, and segments; run email newsletters/EDMs anchored to Shopify events.
Configure WhatsApp broadcasts and segmentation tied to Shopify customer and order data.
Triage and resolve Shopify-related store/app issues, order glitches, and basic integrations; improve help content and macros.
Design and ship online-to-offline experiences with our HK sister clinic, including:
- Appointment booking handoffs from Shopify to clinic systems
- In-clinic/locker pickup and “buy online, pick up in clinic”
- Membership/loyalty that rewards both clinic visits and online purchases
- Prescription refills and reminders linking clinic care to online fulfillment
- Geo-targeted promos, in-clinic QR flows that deep-link to Shopify, and cross-border offers (HK ↔ PH)
- Measurement: attribute clinic conversions back to Shopify campaigns and flows
- Data & Experimentation
Implement GA4/Shopify events, dashboards, and A/B tests; translate insights into prioritized changes.
Work closely with the founder and core team, the veterinary team, and partners as needed to deliver initiatives end-to-end.
Use AI for support macros, chatbots, recommendations, merchandising, content, and QA checks.
