At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training, and budget.<br><br></strong><strong>PURPOSE OF JOB:<br><br></strong>The Internal Medicine Consultant serves as a trusted peer resource for veterinary clients, offering accurate and timely medical consultation grounded in professional expertise and genuine collegial support. The scope of consultation encompasses all areas of small animal internal medicine, with emphasis on diagnostic reasoning, test selection and interpretation, treatment planning, monitoring, and disease prevention in dogs and cats.<br><br><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br><br></strong><em>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function. Physical requirements include extended periods of computer-based work and the manual dexterity required for keyboarding, as well as the ability to communicate verbally by phone and video (e.g., internal video conference communications). A reliable high-speed internet connection and comfort across multiple current and evolving technology platforms are required. Preference will be given to candidates available for a full-time 40-hour schedule on the days and hours as offered.
